Three nights in wonderful Riga
The biggest and nicest room of our three-week European trip. Exceeded our expectations. Right in the middle of old town and reasonably priced. Only 2 negatives: 1) very slow serving coffee and cream at morning breakfast, 2) our room was on 2nd floor above 2 restaurants across the narrow street and loud partying continued until 4 a.m. Sunday morning! Weeknights were fine.

Memorable Excellent Hotel in the City Center
This hotel is very clean and beautiful with nice decoration, and is located in the center of old city, very convenient for all of activities including dining and sight seeing as well as to bus and railway stations by taxi. The room is very spacious and comfortable. Staff was very nice.

Great apartment in great location
We had a very nice and very comfortable studio apartment on the fifth floor (room 503), with a great view of the top of the Dome, windows that opened, and blackout curtains that worked. The room had a separate sitting area as well as a small kitchen (which could have been a bit better appointed - e.g., there was no coffee maker, perhaps because most Latvians drink instant coffee, and no toaster). The room was nicely furnished, linens were good, internet connection was good, and it was very clean. The air conditioning was effective (and windows also opened, which was great) - and quiet, as was the neighborhood. Breakfast was excellent and included in what was a very reasonable price for the room. We also had an excellent lunch at the hotel restaurant. An added bonus was a washer/dryer in the basement that guests can use for a small fee (hotel prices for laundry were quite expensive). There was also a very nice steam room in the basement as well as a sauna - but it was a bit strange being down there since it is not attended and well away from everything else. We very much enjoyed the four days we spent at Neiburgs Hotel and will stay there again if we return to Riga.

Moved here from an unpleasant hotel - stay here!
This is a lovely hotel, comfortable, good A/C, soaking tubs, conditioner (for those of us who can't get by with just shampoo). I had a mini-kitchenette and small sitting area in my room. Located in the heart of the old town, it was an easy walk from tourist sites, restaurants and bars
