Renaissance Phuket Resort & Spa, Mai Khao

The place is beautiful and the pool is fantastic. The location is about 45 mins drive out of the town of Phuket. For true relaxation and time by the pool you cannot go wrong with this location. The entire team at this location is fantastic. Q and Rob were a great help at suggesting things to do in the area and making arrangements for us.

Great stay with everything well provided and taken care of in the resort compound. It’s very close to the beach as well, which is very private without crowd.

Great hotel that is away from the loud touristy areas of the island. The staff and amenities are wonderful but make sure you get to the pool early to get a good chair. Also, don’t expect a 10% discount on food and the spa if you sign up to be a Marriot rewards member. It is offered but not given.

We stayed in a villa for our anniversary. The villa had a very modern and confortable design. Waking up with incredible songs of birds was unforgettable. A bike ride around the nearby lake is a must to do. Breakfast was superb. Staff is very helpful and friendly. Beach and sea is very clean and nice. Restaurants are a bit expensive but food is good. Overall it was a recommendable stay.

Beautiful hotel! Super nice staff! Great for a restful get away. Very private beach front. Amazing breakfast. The only problem is that the hotel is not near any local activities, restaurants, or markets.
