Great location
For some reason my original reservation in another hotel was cancelled. Luckily, I found the last room in this guesthouse and it was pretty close to the place I was. Overall it was good although there was some kids made loud noise for 2-3 days during my stay. The location was very nice.

His was a cute little hostel type hotel in a good location to walk around the city. The rooms were small and the bathrooms and shower were shared but the beds weee comfortable and the room was clean. There is a good place to get breakfast downstairs and a majestic and coffee shop down the street. Of if you get your own food there is a shared kitchen with a stove and fridge. Overall a good play to stay, we only stayed one night but would have stayed more.

Clean hostel, center of town, street parking.
From the online description, we didn't realize that this was a hostel, but we were pleasantly surprised anyway. We've never stayed in a hostel, and wouldn't have picked it. But the regular hotels in Reykjavik were so expensive that we decided to try this one. Nice, clean place, with friendly guests. It was advertised as a 24-hr front desk, but be aware that this means that you buzz the "front desk", wake up the employee, and he or she comes to the front desk. There is no breakfast included, but there is a breakfast place downstairs and a complete grocery store across the street.

Good place and great location.
The place was about 10 - 15 minutes to the center town and a few minute to the water. The staff was friendly and provide direction to the tourist office so we could plan our road trip. The room was basic with no TV but I didn't care since I don't watch tv when traveling. We came really late or should I say early. We arrived at 3am in the morning. I called ahead to tell the hotel and it was not a problem. When we got there in the middle of the night we were buzzed into the hotel and a key was waiting for us in the room. There was no staff at front desk but we had no issue checking in ourselves per their instruction. The wifi speed was decent and free.

The rooms and bathrooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was perfect in the mid town area. The only complaint would be that the wifi was not reliable.
