We only had one issue, we were told that someone from the hotel would be picking us up from the airport, gave us instructions and all. Arrived at the airport, no transportation, so we called and said there was no way to get in touch with the driver. Did not offer anything to fix the problem and ended up taking an uber. Otherwise, the hotel and staff were amazing and I would definitely stay there again. In a great location close to everything. The AC was the coldest of any place ive staying in the carribean and there was hot water!! Loved my trip to Cartagena

Poor2.0
Terrible customer service, bad experience
While Casa Lola is a nice hotel with comfortable amenities, the customer service truly lacks. I had an unfortunate experience with the "free massage" provided by the hotel. During the massage, the two masseuses commented back and forth to one another about how I was "gordita"... aka chubby/fat girl. Obviously this is extremely hurtful to hear. The women assumed I didn't understand any Spanish, which was not the case. Regardless of language differences, it is extremely unprofessional to talk about customers' bodies AT ALL, especially while they are right there. Masseuses with such lack of common sense and customer service should not be hired by a hotel who prides themselves as "luxury". Furthermore, when I discussed the matter with hotel reception staff they assured me that they would contact me after discussing the situation with the masseuses and hotel management. I told 2 different members of staff about the experience and they both said claimed would talk to management and follow-up. After checking-out, I never heard a word from Casa Lola. While the damage was already done and irreversible to my feelings an self-esteem, it would have been nice to at least hear an apology from management about a situation that should have never happened. The lack of reaction speaks volumes about how much they care for customers and the service they provide.

Good experience. The room was smaller than expected and we didn't get as many beds as we needed, but we still had a good time.WiFi was also bad.

Wonderful and relaxing stay in Cartagena oasis
We were delighted with our stay at Casa Lola. The waiters and hotel staff could not have been more attentive, the exceptional design of the rooms and public areas, the delicious breakfast, the location in Getsemani - all of it was outstanding. We loved the rooftop pools which had a nice mix of different areas, some in sun and some in shade. They arranged pickup at the airport, provided fresh juice on arrival (a common feature in Colombia) and could not have been more helpful throughout. They even had a masseuse on site during the day which was fantastic. The chef is also very talented, providing a great take on traditional Cartagena cuisine and international food.
