Day time receptionist would always choose to answer the phone over checking you in or mid way while speaking to you, quite disconcerting. She also showed a lack of interest when our taxi to the airport was late arriving and we were concerned he was not going to show up.

Noisy but pretty nice
The rooms were pretty nice but it was very noisy at night between other guests and ambient city noise. Rooms didn’t filter much out so it was difficult to sleep. Street side parking and meter payments were a bit of a pain. The breakfast buffet was better than expected, and had a good variety of food.

Within walking distance of the old town
A very comfortable hotel, close to an aeroporto bus stop, metro station and the old town. Good restaurants nearby. From previous reviews, we were told to only turn left when exiting the hotel because the area to the right was unsavoury. We went right one day to get to the railway station and it was fine. We had no problems. Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful.
