Welcome even at midnight
Nice property, that could have used a lift. We had a little communication problem with late check-in, but problem solved when night clerk cheerily awoke to take us in. Breakfast was nice and there was a fine common area. Limited services nearby, but just the ticket for our arrival night in Edinburgh.

Sigh, no shuttle
I booked this hotel in particular as wanted hotel shuttle. There is no shuttle. There is a bus stop across the street. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Good location
The room was the only one on ground floor in the back. The room was comfortable, but the smell of grease stayed in the room. The noise made by the workers, I understand they need to work, until 11pm was not pleasant. The location is great, is walkable to many interesting places. Would stay with them again, but in a different room.

Run down room, but good location
The staff were great and breakfast was good. Location was perfect. The room, though it looked like the picture, was tiny and super run down. The TV and alarm clock didn't work, the bed was pretty bad, very uncomfortable and not a pillow top mattress as advertised. Bathroom was tiny and awkward. It worked for us though for one quick night in the city.

Super Hotel w/ great staff
Overall, we loved the hotel. with on site parking, great location from the airport and within walking distance to the Edinburgh Castle and Royal mile. You love it. This is not one of your chain hotel so every room is a little different and it shows with the great friendly staff.
