Awful service on the whole and terrible breakfast
The only good thing about this hotel is the pool. This hotel has sub- standard service. The furnishings are dated and an eye-sore. One can manage with that but the service was shocking. Grumpy staff and a really unhelpful travel desk lady. There was no food option apart from the buffet which was very inconvenient as we had kids. I cannot believe this hotel has been given 4 plus stars. The breakfast was downright depressing. No attempt is made to provide a good quality service on the whole. Very disappointed and will be asking friends to stay away from this place.

Great hotel, if only it was nearer the centre
Took a lot of finding, I didn't believe my GPS when it took me to the wrong side of the tracks, but having got there, this hotel really delivered. Room was big, clean, and air-conditioned, even had a balcony. Good facilities at the hotel, but we used the free shuttle to ride in to Giardini Naxos beach, where we dined profusely and deliciously. Great breakfast, nice staff, no hustle to check out, and when I returned an hour later in a panic, my wallet was still lying unmolested in the car park where I'd dropped it! Ignore the surroundings, this hotel is great value and highly recommended

When I almost entered the aircraft to Tome and then to Catania I got a bizzare phonecall form Hotel.com telling me that the reservation I did for this hotel some 3 weeks ago (that was confirmed) is "canceled" due to "overbooking" of the hotel. I did not have much choice since but only to suffer the idea that I hve no place to stay tonight. Upon arrival the "charming" stuff at the hotel anounced that "there were problems with the floor" but they have another hotel quite closeby. Well I had no choice but I was interested how far is the notel? less than 4 km, was the answered and the name and town was given to me without any map or address. I put the town in Google MAP only to find out that the two was 11 km from where we were. I told them this is too far but they would not listen and try to persuade me that Google Maps is wrong. Again I was frustrated, started to loose some of the meting events I came for but I could not stay 11 km from my meeting, When I understood hekp is not there I went out and spent 3 hours (instead of a medical meeting) to find an hotel about 150 meters from my conference. So, what does it mean confirmation? what is the value of confirmation ? why am told that if there is "no show" I will be charged for one night? how many nights should this hotel be charged for "no show", the situation it put me in the waist of time, and missing hours at the congress I went for?
