Good location, close to shopping, subway, and in walking distance to Gion. Staff was friendly and helpful. I thought the locker room was a bit too tight and not enough space when trying to have your suitcase out and other people trying to access their own lockers/suitcases. Also the capsule's were not as sound proof as I imagined and I could hear my neighbors.

Only to sleep
Only good if you have a minimum luggage (as you can’t keep anything with you and you need to be able to fit all you luggages in one locker!) One night in enough to try the capsule concept!

Decent experience in a capsule hotel.
not as many amenities as other capsule hotels (ie no shaver, comb, hair gel, shaving gel). A little more expensive than some other capsule hotels. Overall still a good place.

Good option for the single traveler
It was nice overall, because it was cheap and different. I like the spaceship feel to the place, including the black PJ's and slippers that were provided. The futon and pillow were too firm for my taste. It would be nice to have a little TV in the capsule. The immediate neighborhood had great restaurants and shopping.
