my stay
maybe if I had been with better company things would have been better. the only real complaints I have was the mattress, it was like a cement slab. also no heat in the room. but all in all I loved it food was awesome

I was looking for lodging on Rt 30. Nice location, beautiful area. Friendly reception. My room (#15) was at ground level with entry from the outside. Would have preferred a room in the actual Inn, instead of a wing, but there was no information about room locations when I made my reservation. I felt a bit vulnerable, especially since an open window is insecure. There was an interior hallway between the office and room, but I was told it was locked and inaccessible. To get from my room to the office meant walking along the road where there is no shoulder. Not too safe, and rough footing. The worst thing was there was no bar of soap in the bathroom. I tried to call the desk (this was after hours) but there was no one to talk to. The Inn is unattended at night! When I left in the morning, the receptionist did not ask me how everything was, and did not give me a receipt until I asked for one. Nice area, comfortable, but oddly run.

Great food and staff at an older location.
This old Inn does show its age, and it’s a little quirky, but the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was beyond good. Great friendly staff with a bar and restaurant on site makes it a perfect overnight for a motorcycle vacation. We would stay again.

Very Enjoyable Stay
We had a very pleasant stay here for two nights. The only drawbacks were that we had a little difficulty getting onto their wi-fi, and there was an infestation of flying ants in the bathroom. However, the staff was very responsive and came right away to try to solve the problems. The owner was very friendly and helpful and went out of his way to help us and give suggestions of places to visit. We had a lovely buffet breakfast on Sunday morning in their quaint dining rooms in the historic old house.
