Pretty good
All in all, a pretty good place to stay. The only negative was that the room was hot with not ventilation and the beds were okay, not overly comfortable.

Highly recommend you pass on making a reservation
Hotel was in a good location to walk to most of the tourist sites in Cambridge, but the room was terrible. Extremely small room with little or no space to even open your suitcase. The bathroom was the smallest in any guest room or B&B we have ever seen. Taking a shower proved difficult because it was hard to even turn around. Facilities were well below par compared to rooms of this type. The price was way too expensive for the conditions and value one would expect at this location.

The host is very nice. The people at breakfast were extremely nice and helpful with getting a taxi. The breakfast was ample and nicely served and the breakfast room is very pleasant. BUT, this is about as much praise as I can give for this guest house. Our room was large enough, but the bathroom was a closet and the shower was the size of a phone booth. The room was in pretty rough shape. There were scuff marks on the walls, some of the molding was broken and needed painting. The outside of the shower near the floor could have used a good scrubbing. I can't imagine how this hotel has a four star rating. There was a courtyard where we could sit in the evening for coolness (it was unseasonably warm during our stay with no air conditioning, but, thankfully, we did have a second floor corner room with cross ventilation and some breeze). It was not horrible, but I was shocked to see the condition, given the four star rating. This hotel is not four star in spite of the nice people there.
