This was our last stop on a month long trip to New Zealand. The hallways are a bit narrow but we had a nice room with KS bed that was very comfortable with nice sheets. Maid service was great. We used the Vallet parking and the car was always brought up on time. Hotel is right next to the trolly station and close to other shopping areas.

Great accommodation in Christchurch CBD.
Wonderful stay for 2 nights. At reception, Vik, was courteous and efficient. Even though I arrived earlier than the 2:00 check in time, my room on the 8th floor was ready and waiting. The bed was comfortable, and I was delighted not to remove several layers of quilting. Being a king size bed I did remove 2 of the 4 pillows, as to save the housekeepers for needlessly having to change the linens. The shower/tub combination was a bit tricky to get into and out of.... the door swings both ways, so it was a little challenging not getting water on the floor before or after washing. The hotel is just across the street from the Issac Royal Theater, and just on the fringe of the CBD of Christchuch’s Cathedral Square. The in house restaurant had great food, and no trouble getting a table both at 5:30 & 7:30 on Sat/Sun nights. My only con on my 2 night stay was care must be taken entering the bath/toilet room. There is a floor elevation change that a person could stub a toe on if unnoticed. Overall, I enjoyed my stay, the staff was superb, and the rooms were quiet and spacious.
