Great hotel in in the center of it all.
Great location. Fantastic location in city center, close to everything, including the train station. The front office staff was stellar going out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. Only small glitch was the percentage city tax based on room rate, not flat rate. Maybe I overlooked when booking but that was my only minute surprise. Other European hotels have a city tax which i understand is separate, but here is city tax and percentage tax of hotel stay which i thought was odd. Great Hotel nonetheless.

Good & bad bits, but enjoyed our stay.
Arrived & was put in room that had a bad odour in it, asked to be moved & was put in a very small room at the front of the hotel that was very noisy. The next day asked to be moved again & the lovely young lady on reception was very helpful & apologised saying they were full, but she did manage to move us to a better room on the 3rd floor.

Definitely Recommend!
I 100% recommend this hotel! When we arrived we had been given a basement room so I was a bit worried about the room having no window and feeling claustrophobic but there was a small window which had a scenic view of Damrak and the city. The room was very clean and the bed was very comfy. Great location, with in walking distance of most attractions. The staff on reception always give a nice welcome every day when we returned to the hotel. We were able to rent an umbrella for a €10 deposit and hold our luggage at the hotel on the day of check out while we had some time to kill before travelling to the airport. We will definitely be returning and we look forward to it!
