Choo Choo..
We didn't know that there was a train directly behind the hotel that ran till late but it did not keep us up( sound machine app) Bad weather but was nice..

The Martello
The apartment we stayed in was perfect for 4 people. The beds were comfortable, and there was plenty of room. The shower was a full tub/shower...a nice surprise! We ate breakfast at the restaurant on the ground level and it was delicious. There wasn’t a whole lot of parking available when we arrived. The only spot we did find was on a residential street 2 blocks away. The Dart (the city train) ran right behind the hotel, and could be heard from our apartment through closed windows.

Good 6.0
The apartments are on the side next to the dart train so you get to hear it early to late at night as well as the delivery trucks so if you want a good nights sleep this isn’t the place Beds were not to comfortable The apartment itself could use an update very basic

Great stay
Great last minute stay. Our room was very small but we got complimentary breakfast which made up for it. Excellent customer service can't wait to return!

Enjoyable New Year’s eve night at the Martello!!
Very enjoyable one night stay in the Martello in Bray on New Year’s eve. We also had our evening dinner in their lovely restaurant upstairs. Service across the hotel from reception to bar and restaurant was very efficient and all staff were very friendly and extremely helpful. We will be back......

Room was fine. Nothing to shout about but great location. The restaurant was amazing and the staff there were great

++ The staff. The location- beautiful sunrises, DART/train stn nearby so short trip to centre of Dublin. Also Bray Head and Co Wicklow nearby too. + Clean and modern en-suite bathroom. Comfortable bed and good facilities in bedroom. Good food at restaurant. Lively bar. Whilst room had a view only of a back alley. The owners have installed frosted glass on all windows to hide the unpleasant view. - Room is modern looking but the items have had some noticeable use. The walls have a couple of spots of blemishes. Conclusion: A great hotel, everything you need and great value for money.

Nice hotel, great view
Nice Hotel. A little loud on Saturday night. I wasn't aware of the live music and party atmosphere when I booked, but it wasn't that bad. The room was a little awkward with a stair going up to the bathroom/shower, and back down again. Weird. But it was still a nice hotel with great staff. I would definitely book again if I am in this area

Extreme Good and Bad
Lovely hotel, fantastic food in restaurant. Room was well appointed, but was disappointed I did not get a room with a view as requested. I think the rate was rather high for a room with a view of a brick wall. The noise during the night on both nights of our stay (Thur/Fri) kept us awake until 3am, even though the hotel has obviously taken steps to try and improve the soundproofing. Again, if the room rate was lower, this would be more acceptable. This has been one of the highest rates paid by us as we’ve travelled around Ireland, North and a south, to be kept awake and have no view. The fact that we paid so much for our room rate, is disappointing
