About Studio M Hotel, Singapore

Loft-style urban retreat on Singapore's chic Robertson Quay

Near Robertson Quay

Near the restaurants and bars along the river in Robertson Quay stands the chic, Studio M Hotel, the first fully loft-inspired designer hotel. Studio M Hotel is a 3-minute walk from the boisterous dining scene of Robertson Quay and 10 minutes by taxi to the art scene at the Esplanade. It's 13 minutes on foot from Clarke Quay, where the old dockside warehouses now play host to fashionable nightlife.

Shopping shuttle

The hotel operates a free shuttle service to popular spots such as Orchard Road, Singapore's world-famous shopping street. For a break from the city heat, you can take a 15-minute taxi ride to Gardens By The Bay and stroll through 101 hectares of landscaped riverside greenery.

Open-air tropical deck

You could spend most of your stay outside on the deck, with its reflection pools, lap pool, and open-air fitness center. Your buffet breakfast is served in an equally impressive space called Ta.ké, while MEMO coffee shop and deli becomes a stylish wine bar when the sun goes down.

Loft spaces, free WiFi

As befits a hotel designed by Italian architect Piero Lissoni, every guestroom is a variation on the loft concept, with some opening onto private patios. Queen beds, lounge areas, and study spaces are spread across split levels, and free WiFi is provided throughout.

Was a nice hotel at a good price - great area!

nice facility, nice facility, but poor service
The last night of my stay was a terrible experience. The room next to us started a party and smoked cigarettes in the room and made lots of noise. When I reported to the front desk, they said that the security didn't see them smoking. So, I took a video to show how noisy it was and where I found a cigarette just right in front of their door. (Too bad doesn't allow me to upload video) Later on, I reported noise complaint two times, and the hotel promised me they have checked out the customers but clearly they didn't. Because I ran into them in the hallway and they were all drunk. I couldn't sleep until 2 am. Furthermore, I asked for changing my room but they said the hotel was fully booked. So they promised me to send an air cleaner to my room instead (since the cigarette smell leak into my room). However, nobody sent it to me. The next morning at 8:30 am, there's a hotel waiter rang the doorbell and asked if I called the room service, which I never did! Overall, nice facility, nice location, but poor service.

Dirty and old
The exterior and lobby of this hotel looks nice and modern but don't let that fool you. The rooms are dirty and the smelled. I switched to three different rooms and shortened my stay because it was so bad. The sheets had stains on it, I found mold in the bathroom floor, the wallpaper was peeling off and all of the rooms smelled like dirt and mildew. The manager also made me wait 3+ hours until he met with me to discuss my complaints. Take your money elsewhere and don't stay at this hotel!

Weird room layout
Very poorly maintained hotel with a smoke filled room that was changed once we complained. The carpets were stained and needs some cleaning. It is not a fantastic hotel and needs some help with the reception area. Other than that if you need a place to stay that is cheap and a weird room layout this is the place
