Thanks to the wonderful staff at Creta for making the stay a very pleasant one - I stayed there for 6 days - staff is very friendly and work hard at making all guests very comfortable. The room is cleaned daily and the food is very good.

The Creta Princess is a perfect destination for families. This all inclusive resort covers all your needs. The staff is friendly and they have activities all day into the night if you choose. The food is consistently good and meals alternate daily. You will be tempted to not to leave the resort but I do recommend visiting local points of interest and shops.

The best part of our stay was the pool and the water slides. The proximity to the Mediterranean Sea was great too. We did several excursions and had a wonderful time on those. The lobby staff provided us very little information and also gave us some wrong information, which was stressful.

Stayed as a family during the last week of October (final week of season as hotel was closing for summer). The food on the first day wasn’t as good as we had hoped for but definitely improved by the second day. The hotel had scaled back on food as there were so few guests remaining but what they served was really good. There was always a fish option, vegetarian selection alongside salads and meat carvery area. They also had pastas at each meal. The children’s options included pastas, local dishes, vegetables and fish fingers/chips/pizza for the fussier eaters The pool areas were very well maintained. We didn’t spend too much time in the main one as travelling with younger children. Splash park and children’s mini slide park were brilliant and felt very safe. There is also a pirate ship play area on the beach and small playground near the mini club. We didn’t use the mini club but the entertainment staff we met were very friendly and put on a brilliant mini disco every night (one of the best we’ve seen). Evening entertainment included singing, quizzes and game shows for the adults. The rooms were clean but most balconies very small and bathrooms dated. With a full family in the room it can feel a bit cramped but with such good pool areas you’re not in the rooms much. Hotel is situated ideally for trips to Chania, with a bus stop directly outside that takes straight to the town in 35 minutes. Large supermarket is 5 min walk away
