Great day in Prague.
Front desk young woman was just GREAT and helpful. The location is just wonderful. Parking was right out front and VERY convenient, Room was very nice and comfortable. The A/C was great since the day was very hot. The view of the castle was excellent. GREAT GREAT property. The morning/evening check out person was great too. Great value for the money. Great visit thank you hotel staff.

Location near castle complex
This hotel is in a great location and is next to the palace complex. It is an easy walk to the palace as well as st Charles bridge. We found the rooms dark and the decor dark. It looks super cool in pictures but missing the adequate lighting made it more difficult for these 50 year old eyes. Warning. Because this hotel requires a “card” for the electricity to work in the room, things didn’t charge while we were away and the refrigerator didn’t keep things cold as it was mostly “off” while we were away. We tried to leave the card in the holder while we were away but the staff removed the card (even tho we weren’t careful to turn off the air conditioning and all the lights when we left so the only thing that’s would be running isnthe mini-fridge). If you don’t need really bright rooms to feel comfortable and/or you do not have a need for a mini-fridge, then this place is great.

Terrific place to stay in Prague!
Perfect location. Very friendly staff (all could speak english). Clean and cozy. Great breakfast. Mattresses were a little bit uncomfortable. A little hard to take a shower due to where the hose was located within the tub.

Beautiful hotel, great location, a little worn
We booked 2 rooms at this hotel, one "Castle View" was beautiful, one "Deluxe" was pretty but had very odd artwork on the walls that detracted from the overall feel. Both rooms were worn and smelled strongly of what I think must have been wood polish--not a dirty or unpleasant smell but noticeable when you entered. Both had beautiful decorated ceilings and flowers growing in the window boxes outside the windows. View of the castle was perfect! So overall, a mixed bag--some ways beautiful and just like a fairy tale, other ways a little worn and not quite premium. The breakfast was plentiful, but mostly meats and cheeses and the pastries were only so so, the fruit, for the most part, required peeling and cutting at the table rather than being served ready to eat. It wasn't a terrible breakfast but not as nice as we've had at comparable hotels in other cities. Both rooms had AC (one was easier to figure out than the other but both worked), good WiFi, and large, bathrooms. Hotel staff were very pleasant and helpful. I'd read reviews that said there was no elevator but the part of the hotel we were in definitely had a working elevator. Hotel location was terrific, short walk to the Charles Bridge, metro and trams; short metro ride to popular locations, pleasant and not too long walk over the Charles Bridge to Old Town Square. Many good points but some that could use attention. It was a pleasant stay, pretty rooms, but best to go into it with realistic expectations.
