Experience the Park
If you want to be right near, practically in the can't beat this place. I had a hard time equating the value to price I paid but the more time I spent, the more I appreciated the place. It is expensive because it is in such a remote location. They do a lot of activities and have very helpful staff. No TV in room forced us to be outside all day every day but I'm glad for that.

Was like staying in a fantasy.
I went with a friend for a photo shoot. The location was perfectly convenient to some awesome views. Food and service at the hotel itself was awesome. I’d really highly recommend to friends. Note: If you’re driving there, be wary of a recent road closure that affects the route from Puerto Natales to Río Serrano (where this hotel is located.)

Can’t wait to return!
Staying at Hotel Rio Serrano and adventuring in the surrounding area has been a highlight of my trip to Argentina and Chile. The hotel is in an excellent location - near all of the quintessential Torres Del Paine trails and in a valley that’s beautiful in its own right. The room was nice, the views from the hotel were incredible, the staff were all so kind and hospitable. The excursions team was especially impressive. I didn’t do any excursions through the hotel, I rented a car and adventured on my own, but the excursions team (especially a gentleman named Mateo, I think) helped me plan each trip, told me how to get to the trailhead, purchased my catamaran tickets when necessary, prepared me for what to expect on the trek and helped me select each hike based on what I liked, what I wanted to see, etc. The only area lacking in my opinion was the food. It was a bit pricey and mediocre, and there aren’t other options in the area. However, to be fair, I didn’t do the all inclusive option so I don’t know what the dinner buffet included (and the breakfast buffet was good so I would imagine the dinner buffet was good too, I just didn’t want to spend the money). Anyhow, I ate dinner at the bar each night and the waitress was great but the food options were limited and the food itself was nothing noteworthy. Not a big deal for a few days, and all the other benefits significantly outweighed this point. Overall I would recommend the hotel and can’t wait to visit again.

I was delighted to meet Cynthia who was a charming host. She took time and patience to share her experiences in Chile with us. Also Matthias the excursion leader was informative and enthusiastic. he shared his vision of the transformation of consciousness of people towards a kinder, environmentally friendly planet. Kudos to rio for hiring such inspiring young people
