A gem in the countryside
Beautiful setting with cows out back and sheep across the street. Attentive staff and music in the evening. Comfortable and large rooms. Breakfast was tasty and more than enough! Conor was a wonderful host!

Can We Stay Here Again, Please!
We found a gem! This B & B was exactly what we were looking for...a comfortable, quiet place in a beautiful, rural setting. Ballyvaughan is magic; the countryside is so beautiful and tranquil. Cappabhaile House was a perfect home base for sight seeing; so much to do and see. Connor was magnificent, a wealth of knowledge and very passionate about Irish history and local information...he was so helpful with recommendations too (we loved Linnanes Lobster Bar so much, we went 2 nights in a row)! The staff were exceptional, as were the breakfasts...generous portions and so many choices. For us, the smoked salmon was THE BEST we've ever had, hands down! To top it all off, we were lucky to sit in on a Trad session the night we arrived. Connor playing his accordian and his buddies on banjo and fiddle...what a treat that gathering was with the other guests! What a brilliant experience we had there!

One of the best places we've stayed. Easy to find, very helpful proprietor (advice on how to avoid crowds at sites, where to park inexpensively, restaurants to suit our tastes....all without asking!), clean, quiet and very spacious rooms. Comfortable bed and seating area with good views. Breakfast allowed several choices, and was delicious and prompt. All in all, a 10!

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful, with great suggestions for sightseeing. Live Irish music one night was fun. The view from our room was beautiful. The breakfast was great, and huge.

I could not be happier with the view, the owners and staff and the wonderful room. The stay was the best I've ever had in a hotel or B&B.
