We won’t be staying again
Unfortunately I don’t have anything good to say, unless you just need somewhere on the A road to stay, and happy to spend £155 on 2 nights. On arrival the checkin desk was unmanned, after advising the restaurant we waited a further 10min for someone. At dinner the restaurant lost my order so I didn’t eat until my friends had finished their meal and the same thing happened at breakfast with my husband and I not recieveing our meals until 45min after everyone else on our table, despite ordering at the same time through the same waiter. Our friends had left the restaurant by the time our breakfast arrived. The continental buffet was also understocked with food and crockery. The rooms were clean, however a lot of noise from the hallway came through, and the bathroom had an extremely loud fan that’s didn’t turn off. Checkout was at least quite quick, although we felt it pointless that we were asked how our stay was, as nothing was done to compensate us for the terrible experience.

St Leonards Hotel
Booked at short notice, good check in, room large, well fitted out and quiet. Best to get a room facing the garden.
