Terrible service. Almost non existent wifi connection throughout my stay. I booked two rooms for me and an employee. In the second room my employee had to check out early and leave because of an allergic reaction from bug bites he received while sleeping in the bed.

Nice English Country Getaway
We wanted a traditional pub experience while visiting relatives. It'seems a beautiful place. The garden areally was lovely but the weather didn'the cooperate. You need a car and theyou have plenty of off road parking. A golf course across the wayear and a winery just down the street was a lovely surprise. The rooms were fine, but the food was fair. They need to work on connectivity (wifi and tv).

I stayed in room #7, it is above the kitchen, there is no AC no fans and the windows open about 5". The room was about 100 degrees all night. Bar closes at 11pm. Hotel is located in the middle of nowhere with nothing to walk to. Staff is very nice, food was sophomoric at best.

Very helpful staff, having arrived late and needing documents printed, staff were willing to help.

Overnight for Spring Golf at local course
We once again stayed for B&B at the Dog House, which is ideally located for golf at Frilford Heath, just 5 minutes drive away. More front of house staff are required at the hotel, as we were disappointed in 3 aspects: 1) That the lights had to be turned off (they said dimmed) in the bar area shortly after 10:30 p.m. in the evening, when last orders taken. 2) Slow service at breakfast (probably 16 people having breakfast at similar time to us) and it must have taken nearly 30 minutes between our sitting down then ordering and receiving our cooked food. 3) Checking out, shortly after breakfast took nearly 10 minutes, as the man (doing his best) rushing around serving breakfast, had to staff the reception desk - we did venture into the lounge and spoke to another member of staff, who said she couldn't serve at reception. So I am disappointed that friends to whom I had recommended this splendid pub, were not happy with the service, which had been excellent when we stayed there on the equivalent day last year. So we will consider cheaper accommodation in the area next year. So please get some more staff, or you will be losing customers.
