Girls Weekend
Our stay was very pleasant. The room was comfortable and spacious. We stayed in The House Next Door which is a very old building (think 'farm house' which I was fine with). We could hear some creaking from the room upstairs and we could hear people going up the stairs as they were located beside our room. We weren't disturbed and noise was minimal. The bed was very comfortable with loads of pillows! The bathroom was a little worn and the tv was about 20 years old but that didn't ruin our experience. We ate in the Barley Pub. Food was amazing and the service was excellent. Our breakfast was in Amelia's Garden and it was delicious. The staff were very attentive and pleasant.

We had an absolutely wonderful night at the Waring House! It started with great communication from the hotel before we even arrived, and progressed to a very friendly welcome at the front desk, we were checked in right away and she had all our requests on file. The room we were assigned was in one of the outer buildings, a big beautiful room with a huge balcony that we immediately took full advantage of to enjoy the warm afternoon sun. Dinner in the pub was good and breakfast the next morning was even better. We will definitely be back though will wait for the summer season as our only disappointment was that a lot of the local galleries and stores were still closed.

Nice but needs TLC
We were given a room in the old building, which has more charm than the new one. It was a "superior" room but was really small. It had a fireplace and 2 wing chairs that took up a lot of the room. The bathroom was huge with a jetted tub but no shower stall, only a handheld shower. The room and the property are in need of some maintenance and general TLC. Good breakfast though.
