quiet clean comfort
Really dug it here all of the staff were awesome. Ivan really welcomed me when i arrived and help get me all set up even at 3 am. The spot is right across from the river and temple bar down an alley it was very quiet, granted it was during the week but it had a great vibe inside. Not a party place but social atmosphere. Loved it. Very clean. My only thing was the bed was small ima big guy so no hostel bed really fits but it was very comfortable pillow comfortor and mattress just had to crunch up lol.

Not great for travel veterans who want rest
Great location and unique hotel. Staff was great, other guests were polite and friendly. Downsides -- the beds are horrible. The comforters were delightful, and served to offer some cushion UNDER the body from the horrid springy mattress. A fan in the room would have been great as leaving the windows open let in lots of bugs and noise from the street. Not the worst place I've ever stayed, but definitely not the most comfortable for sleeping. Since most hotel rooms, especially in the heart of a city, are only used for a good night's sleep, this one failed. Okay for one night, definitely not good for a longer stay, unless you're in your early 20s and don't care how much rest you get!

Awful awful service
Two young men at front desk couldn't be bothered to help me with my suitcase as they watched me struggle to get it through the front door. One handed me a key card and told me my room was upstairs, checkout at 10:30, that's it. No "welcome to Sky backpackers is this your first time with us? Is this your first time to Ireland?" No greeting whatsoever. I had greatly inconvenienced them by walking through the front door. Then they watched me struggle to life my suitcase up the two flights of stairs without so much as an offer of help. When I found my room, it was a 6-bed female dorm that was dingy and dank and semi-clean. The sheets were clean but the bathroom was not. Floor was dirty, shower had pubes (SO gross) and took almost 15 full minutes to heat up. I let the water run for 5 minutes before going downstairs to ask about the hot water to which they told me, you're in a room by yourself, the water will take a while just let it run. So I left the water on another 10 minutes and it did warm up a bit. So I get in the shower and after I got out, there is a girl sitting on the bed. I most definitely was not in a room by myself. I get it, it's a dorm but they told me I was alone so to come out of the shower and find someone in there is a little unnerving. I checked out the next morning. For paying €30 for one night, it was absolutely awful.
