Overall a nice place to stay. Stayed there over night for daughters college graduation which was close by. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was okay but could have been better.

Unprofessional / threatening staff
I will never stay at this hotel again . Hotel staff banged on our door 3 times in the middle of the night, insisting to come in as they wanted to check the room. As they had no ID and were not in uniform, i would not open the door. they threatened to use their key and let themselves in. i advised that the deadbolt was on, that i had frightened children in the room and they do not have permission to enter. at this point, they threatened to call the police. i responded with the same. we eventually got a night manager on the phone after calling the front desk several times. she apologized for the error and said no one else would come to the room [which they did anyway]. but it was too late - the kids were terrified; they cried all night and didn't sleep. The day manager also apologized and comped us for the stay. they need to invest in some managerial / communication / sensitivity training. If a guest is uncomfortable opening the door to a stranger in the middle of the night, you dont threaten to call the police on them. Had someone from the front desk rang the room initially and said they needed to check the room, I would have let them in.

Have not been disappointed yet by any Hyatt
Great weekend getaway. Nice area. Quiet, near many shops and accessible to the highway. Area still in development though. Will definitely return. Room was comfortable and nice size for the value.

I liked the hotel very much, very comfortable, pretty quiet, and great breakfast that was hot! Here's why I wasn't as happy with the service. My problem had to do with a hair dryer that stopped working in the middle of drying my long, wavy hair. I called, waited 25 minutes for a replacement, then went looking for someone from housekeeping to track down a dryer. Found a housekeeper on another floor who radioed again for me. By the time I got a hair dryer, I had to get moving to the airport. Additionally, I was there 3 nights, and each day housekeeping came after 3 p.m. I had been out shopping and had returned at 3 to shower & get ready for the evening. The bed wasn't made & there was still garbage in the cans. By the time they arrived, I needed to get in the shower, so I said "No, thanks."
