There was police activity when I was there. Local transient banging on the the front door, yelling at everyone that came in or out. The noise from neighboring slamming doors was an issue I brought to the attention to the Managers. They should modify their doors to soft close or offer ear plugs. You will hear consistant slamming doors starting around 6am. Rooms are very clean. Staff is friendly.

Find somewhere else!
Check in was incredibly difficult. They also add an additional tax if you use a credit card. No service. One day old croissants. You look out on another building. All that for 400 dollars!

Calvin Lee was great! I was charged for a rollaway bed, and it wasn’t there the first night. There was someone else’s underwear in the closet on the floor which speaks to the fact that we wondered if the room was clean. One of the towels had a pink streak both my friend and I do not wear lipstick, etc. So were the sheets really changed? There are only 9 rooms. They were great about leaving the keys in the Dropbox, responding to issues. The breakfast were just perfect! Brownies were awesome! Calvin was very professional about the underwear and the missing rollaway bed and restaurant suggestions! Included is the underwear in the closet.

Great Stay In Santa Cruz
Overall, very pleased with our stay at the Pacific Blue Inn. We were greeted right outside the building when we pulled over to ask about the free parking. The gentlemen directed us just down the street. Upon walking in, I was very pleased to see how nice the Pacific Blue Inn was from the outside. Walking in, it was very cozy and welcoming. Check in was very easy and we were given a slight tour of the hotel and also given directions of all the attractions in Santa Cruz. When we entered our room, once again I was impressed. Very clean and tidy. The best feature of the room was the bathroom. Really enjoyed the shower with the sit down. We then spent the remainder of the day at the boardwalk and downtown Santa Cruz. Each were a 10-15 minute walk from the hotel. Very easy and especially recommend walking during the summer. Once we came back we were greeted with banana bread in the main lobby. Was a nice treat! We slept pretty well and was happy with the comfort of the bed. Our stay at the Pacific Blue Inn was very nice and I would stay here again anytime. Very convenient non expensive option if you want to spend the day in Santa Cruz.
