Good hotel in downtown Nagoya
Good, western-style hotel with large rooms in the heart of downtown Nagoya.

Rooms are very small. Breakfasts was more or less ok. For the price, it is reasonable. The internet is very slow. Clean. Staff are polite.

Dirty and dated. Won’t stay there next time

Rooms were clean and service was fine. Nightly rates were very affordable. Desk and chair in the room (single bed) were a bit small and not too comfortable to work at for long periods of time. WIFI and wired ethernet connections were not terribly reliable. Plenty of restaurants and convenience stores right outside the hotel. Starbucks on the first floor. Sakae station on the Meijo line is a five minute walk, making it very easy to get to the hotel from Tokyo via the Shinkansen to Nagoya Station then Higashiyama line to Sakae. The Nagoya Pokémon is a 10 minute walk.

Perfect for the American traveler.
For the American visitor, it provided the comfort and a little extra space in our room not normally found in comparably priced Nagoya hotels. The location and the Starbucks on street level were a plus. Great bathroom accommodations. We had a 13th floor room with a super view of the city, so ask for that when reserving a room. It was the perfect home for us during a week long stay.
