Aleandro was helpful. However, the room was smelly and we had to buy air freshener so we could sleep in the room. The hot water in the faucet barely worked in the bathroom. When we arrived in the lobby, we could smell marijuana. Bathrooms are not clean, the vents in the ceiling are dirty. Shower was not clean. For the price of the hostel, you would be better off getting a hotel in a area that is a little bit further away. Stayed in the room as little as possible. The breakfast was good.

Dublin 2016
July 25, 2016. Perfect location for a tourist stay in Dublin. We were disappointed in the upkeep of the Hostel compared to others we have stayed in. There is no lift, and the stairs are vers narrow, the automatic light comes on, after you are half way up the stairs. Have to pick up towels at the front desk. Staff were very helpful.

Great hostel, close to everything, helpful staff
I stayed here as a solo traveler for three nights in a 6-bed female en-suite and had a pleasant experience. My room was in the back so it was pretty quiet at night. There was some kind of generator outside our window, but it was fine if we closed the window. Breakfast was €3 and it was self-serve with simple cereal, bread for making toast or sandwiches, fruit, juice, tea, and coffee. There was also a laundry room on the third floor with two washers and two dryers. The location is convenient, close to Temple Bar and Trinity College. Most other places were walking distance. Room was very spacious and lockers were big enough to fit all my stuff. My only complaint is that the floor was a bit dusty, but nothing major.

First night we had old worn broken-down mattresses on our beds, but after we talked to the staff, the mattresses were replaced with new ones (they had been in the process of replacing all the mattresses but said they had not gotten to our room yet prior to our first night's stay).

Don't expect much it's a hostel!
Rooms were unpleasant. It's super small, dusty, and a bit smelly. I also got bed bug bites. However, staff members were extremely helpful and welcoming. If it wasn't for them (and the location) I would probably rate this place 1 star. Location wise, it's pretty much close to most tourist attractions (i.e., Trinity College, Stephen's Green Park, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Dublin Castle, Temple Bar, Guinness, etc). Dublin bikes are highly recommended so you can explore the city.
