Tried calling for 2 days to get a hold of staff for some questions, no one ever answered. Neighbors were having a loud sexy session next door and were banging on the wall for 30 minutes! Great location. Nice room. Fireplace is advertised but does not work.

Great location, friendly service. Downfall was that our room had a propane fireplace and it was completely fogged up, like the glass front needed to be replaced so we couldn’t really see the fire.

Puppies first visit to Carmel.
I took my puppy for his first overnight trip and it was the perfect place. Gary at check in was so nice and accommodating. The rooms are a bit dated but very clean and centrally located to walk everywhere. I would definitely stay there again.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Place just needs a little TLC on the outside. Rooms were clean but bathroom could also use a little updating. Shower didn't drain properly and therefore a couple of inches of standing water accumulated. Still enjoyed our stay.

NO Coffee maker in the room!!
NO coffee maker in the room….That’s a Bummer. Thankfully there Was something that resembled coffee in the lobby. We stayed here a few years back, and the remodel definitely looks a lot nicer. I don’t think our fireplace worked either. There was no key…we’ll probably stay someplace else next time.

This place is a great value. The location is totally walkable to all things in town of Carmel and the beach. It’s not fancy. But it’s clean and very friendly staff. I’d definitely stay here again.

Told all rooms are the same and booked online- yet we didn’t get a fireplace or couch like some showed. Construction at 9 am- loud. I was up but returned to a grumpy complaining family. Lobby disappointing. Crappy coffee- a little lame. Styrofoam cups. But over all affordable, decent and where we wanted to be.
