Highly Recommend
This was one of our favorite places we stayed and there were quite a few since we were traveling for 31 days. Most of the places we stayed were smaller hotels, with a few hostels and we preferred this hostel over all of the hotels. I would definitely recommend it.

Hot showers and clean linens and amazing people
Nice hostel in a nice area with amazingly friendly, courteous, and helpful staff. Linens were clean and blankets were warm. Breakfast not included, but 24 hour kitchen. Winter time is kind of cold. Would especially recommend this place for a Spring time visit, especially with the gardens close by. Some other nearby hostels have free breakfast which really is a money saver (free toast, free milk, etc saves you from buying and schlepping those things).

Small but cozy
This hostel was only the second hostel I've ever stayed in, but it was a world away from the larger, more commercial hostel I'd tried before. It was very small and cozy, and very homey. The biggest problem I had was that it is somewhat of a longer walk from the things I'd like to see, though it's very well-connected via public transit. The beds were creaky, but that's standard for a hostel, and the neighborhood can feel a little spooky late at night, though it's safe enough.

I wish I could upload pictures.
The location of this hostel is the best part of it. About a 10-15 minute walk to Trinity College and other hot spots. However, after my first night I woke up the next morning feeling itchy and the nights after I started to get very bad bug bites. After a doctor examined me, he confirmed they were bedbugs and I was put on antibiotics and a cream to stop the itching. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

If you are immune to night noises.... decent place
Our room's window opened to "Copper Faced Jacks", unbeknownst to us the most popular night club in all of Dublin. It rocked until 4 am, and the bouncers were busy under our window dealing with patrons until 5 am. We came prepared with ear plugs... but they were no match for the noise! If you sleep like the dead, it's a great place to stay. Clean, efficient, convenient, friendly.
