Lovely place to stay!
LOVED THIS HOTEL! It was very elegant. There is free gated on-site parking! The breakfast was very good with nice variety however they ran out of bread rolls by 9am and breakfast goes on until 10am. The waitress in the breakfast room was a little rough around the edges type but beyond this it was a great stay. The hotel is located away from the attractions so you have peace and quiet at night. It is near the US and other embassies so it is an upscale neighborhood. We had a balcony which was great to sit outside at night. I also love the courtyard where you could sit outside for breakfast or any time of the day.

Very good 4 star hotel with location and price
Perfectly located with closeby bus/metro station if used. Most attractions in Rome are within walking distance. It has parking space for free. Room and breakfast were good. We plan to stay again when back in Rome.

A great option in Rome
A really fun stay in Rome. The hotel is cool - its an old house and it has that feel. The staff was AMAZING. The hot tub and steam room left some to be desired, but the hotel was great.

Hotel Villa Poinciana
The hotel Villa Pinciana is a beautiful boutique hotel both exteriorly and interiorly. The hotel property is also beautifully landscaped, with a nice terrace area to relax and unwind. The property is located near several foreign embassy's, so the area is very quiet and reserved. There are several restaurants to eat within 1-10 minutes of walking. It seems to be located in a more high end area, so many of the restaurants are expensive; but if you just walk around, it is easy to find more reasonably priced restaurants. The closest metro station is about a 10 minute walk downhill, maybe 10-15 minutes walk back because you are going uphill. It is definitely not a steep in grade, however, after sightseeing and walking all day, it does feel steeper than it actually is. The breakfast that is served in the morning is very bare bones basic. If you are a big breakfast eater, it will probably not suffice. I am good with just coffee, orange juice, and a pastry, so it served my needs. The price was included in my room, so it wasn't like I had to pay any extra for it. The staff was very friendly and helpful; the property and neighborhood very secure and safe. The room was spacious and clean. I would definitely return to this hotel should I every vacation in rome again.

Great hotel
One night in Rome before we flew home. Secure parking off the street was an added bonus.
