Dar Al Hamra, Marrakech
Our clothes were impregnated with cigarette smell
First things first: the staff were really helpful, even helped us cancel the nights we had booked but we did not intend to stay. But let's go the bad part: the place stinks. Although they try to soften the smell by putting incense, this does not help, it actually worsens the odor. Initially we had planned to stay 4 nights, but stayed only two nights as it was not at all pleasant to stay in the place. On the first day, the bathroom drain clogged due to lack of maintenance. The bedding was torn and grimy, and all our clothes start to smell of cigarettes, even though we asked for a non-smoking room. Definitely would not recommend this Riad.

Recommended riad, friendly hosts
Great local style riad, nice breakfast on terrace overlooking Marrakech, enjoyed company of hosts. Room fine, bed comfortable and clean. Recommended.

Poor service
The hotel.. more like an inn, is small, not particularly clean and you have to beg to get the free breakfast, if you get it at all. I would not recommend it. I think it depends if the boss is around or not.
