Location, location, location! Combined with a completely rehabbed ancient stone shell of a building into a modern, even classy, place. The rooms are small, very small, but everything is thoughtfully designed for comfort.
The hotel is close to everything interesting in Vigo--the ports, "Oyster Street",. and restaurants. And the owner and son aim to please. And do so. Nevertheless, given its small size, slight hill climb to reach it, and lack of Hilton-type services, it is not for families, businessmen (although some Texas oil-platform contractors were guests), or incapacitated. But for those who want atmosphere, friendly service, and easy walks to Vigo's delights, it can't be beat.
