Rooms ok.
Rooms ok. Water was coming out of bathroom making the whole place wet. Breakfast.... horrible....and charging it for €10 extra together with the coffee. I asked for fried eggs and the lady said she was busy and could only prepare an omelette. We booked 4 rooms and we ask for one room to have late check out, and the person in charged said ok But the next day an old man, said that he booked the room that was given to us, and we had to take our things out. Horrible behaviour and service.... NEVER AGAIN AT METROPOLIS. ALSO a stolen handbag from a lady just outside the hotel from a guy with a motorbike.

Tiny room in excellent location
Location is excellent and front desk staff is friendly and helpful. The hotel and rooms are very tiny, although to be fair the room size is accurately noted on the description. It was nice to have a balcony but still felt very cramped in the room, especially with two people.

Very Good8.0
The staff at the front desk were absolutely wonderful! They were very friendly and helpful. Loved the couch in the reception room. We collapsed there every day after being out and about and discussed our wanderings with the staff there. The pictures of the rooms made them look spacious. But the photographer must have torn down a wall to give the feel of expansiveness. The view from our private panoramic terrace was outstanding! But there was a smell of rancid water in a corner of the terrace.

Will stay again
Everything great! Everyone was very friendly. Only negative was the air-conditioning didn't cool enough. We stayed on two different occasions within a week and I had two different rooms... same problem. All 4 of us were very uncomfortable with the temperature. Everything else was amazing.
