We stayed for three days and this hotel was ideal for our purposes. The location is only a few minutes from the train station and a leisurely ten minute walk to the Schilthorn cable cars. The views of the Eiger, Mönch, and Jungfrau were exceptional…you’ll never have a better view at breakfast. Furnishings and food were on the simpler side — we very much enjoyed our time.

The views from our room were spectacular. I mean, really amazing. It felt like we could just reach out and touch the other side of the valley. Breakfast was delicious. My favorites were their muesli, fresh fruit mix, and egg station where I could boil the egg to my liking. The hotel was convenient to both of the cable cars on each side of Mürren.

It’s an older property, but very well maintained and typical of a Swiss chalet in terms of rooms sizes and accommodations. The staff was very friendly as both the front desk and the restaurant.
