Would stay here again
The hotel is very close to the bus and train stations. It is a little off the beaten path but right on the water making it convenient for water taxis (although we walked pretty much everywhere). The staff were nice and the service was very good. We stored our luggage there before check-in and after check-out. The room was small but adequate and we enjoyed the church bell tower that was outside our window.

Average European hotel. you can do better
This is a fairly lower quality hotel. The hotel is against a church in what looks like an old Abby. The attached bathroom looked recently redone, but the door would not close completely. The rooms are furnished with cheap furniture that seems to have been poorly repaired. The bed was of the same quality. The area is okay but a bit of a walk to anywhere but the train station. Average level hotel but you can do better in Venice for the same price.
