L'Auberge de La Fontaine was comfortable and so friendly, and just where we needed to be in Montreal. The only downside was - as we knew in advance - no elevator which would have been a challenge with more luggage. We can see how parking could have been a big challenge but we got very lucky with painless on-street parking.

The friendly manager Tarik upgraded us to a room with the front balcony. It was such a good experience staying here. We had morning coffee and evening chatting time on the balcony, overlooking the park and watching people biking by. The room is clean and the bedding is high quality. Tarik is very helpful and even let me use his bus card one day. A very devoted and kind person! Highly recommend!
