Good location
The mini kitchen that they provided was very old and dirty. The walls in the room looked beat up. On the plus side, the check-in area was nice!

Good Hotel on a Budget
Spent 3 nights here. Very nice hotel, incredible location. Lots of shops, places to eat, and only a short walk to the beach. Plenty of places open on Shabbat too. Bed was comfy and bathroom was clean. They have Hotbird (Eutel) satellite TV. My one complaint with this hotel was the quality of the door lock. I felt the door locks were very weak, and could easily be opened. Also, there was no chain on the door. Also, the front desk does not open until around 10:30am, so if you need a late checkout, arrange in advance.

Do not recommend
Hotel is more of a hostel. Wi-fi did not work and tv did not have but five channels and one in English. They promised quiet and it was unbelievably loud all 3 nights I stayed. I was very very disappointed and will not stay there again

Arrive so someone is at the front desk!
This place would have received a slightly higher rating from me if I had been able to enter when I arrived! My flight arrived late and someone had been nice enough to leave my room key at the front desk, but unfortunately there was no way to access the front desk as the gate to the hotel was locked and no staff answered my ringing the bell. I waited until a couple of partyers left for the evening so I could get in the gate. In the morning, staff does not arrive until 10 AM (I did not know this until later), so I had the same problem when I went for a 7:00 AM walk and tried to re-enter the hotel at about 9:30 AM. Gate was locked again with no one to answer the bell. I am guessing you will be alright if you actually meet a person who works here, but the first person I encountered who worked there was housecleaning at 10 AM telling me it was time to check out. The person who was now at the front desk told me they arrived at 10 AM also.

Great location
We stayed three nights here. The young man working at the reception in the evenings is very nice and helpful and spoke perfect English. We booked a normal double room, but when we saw the room, it was so tiny and the bathroom minuscule, with no kitchenette. We asked for a larger room which we agreed to pay 25 dollars extra a night for, and it was worth it. We were given a huge family room for the extra price, with an enormous bathroom and kitchenette. The room was pretty clean and included bath products in the bathroom. The hotel's location is excellent, within walking distance to the beach, a huge mall, (Dizengoff Center) and Carmel Market. There are dozens of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, pharmacies and laundry and dry cleaning shops right nearby. Only small problem we had was parking. We parked our rental car on a side street where the curb was painted blue and white. We didn't know that this is only for residents. It was parked there for only an hour, but we got a ticket for 100 NIL. Since then, we've parked our car in a paid underground parking on Frishman Street two blocks away. It costs anywhere from 50 to 100 NIL a day to park there. Another extra cost. But I suppose that's like that with almost any hotel in a big city, parking is rarely free.
