Worth the stay!
It has a grand entrance and lobby but it is rather dated. This establishment has worked hard in trying to maintain high standards in service and quality and this in itself is a feat in Malaysia. Kudos to the team. Service was very good. Checking in was smooth and pleasant. Room was both clean and comfortable. Room amenities and toiletries were more than adequate. Breakfast spread was wonderful. Unfortunately, some of the staff at this hotel speak little to no English. Although they smile and nod I find they simply cannot grasp nor comprehend simple questions or requests. Called the concierge the first evening asking for a shaving kit and an extra towel. He said yes but nothing happened. I had to call again the next morning and the person understood what I needed. For a hotel smack in the middle of Kuala Lumpur it's alarming. Location is great! Walking distance to KLCC, Pavilion mall and food and beverage outlets. Great price and good value! Recommended!

Fair 4.0
First the good: the staff and management were to notch. They were very accommodating and offered a true 5 star experience. Now the bad: outside of the first floor, the rooms were run-down: faded paints, caulking with mold, and lower luminosity light bulbs to help reduce the likelihood of noticing it. And now for the terrible: our room appeared to been used by a different guest and then made up to appear as if everything was clean and fresh: the bed sheet had a large stain on it (it didn't appear to be human fluids, but perhaps food), the skirt on the bed had a stain on it, the rug had stains on it, and the pillow cover looked as if someone with greasy hair had slept on it. My wife said she thought the toilet appeared unclean (I didn't see it but take her word for it). Fortunately, when this was brought up to management, they quickly addressed all of the issues, and followed up to insure everything was to expectations.

Five star hotel, unhelpful concierge, bad location
Great luxurious hotel. Friendly helpful staff at refeption withe the exception of the concierge. Concierge was unfriemdly, lacked knowledge and unhelpful indeed. Answer is always dont know, when its their job to find out for you, and sneared at me when I asked for a map of just Bukit Bintang. Warisan Cafe - the international cafe was excellent with the food. Satay however was unedible hard and not authentic; get better ones in a western countries. I was charged for it eventhough I told them to advise the kitchen and I didnt finish the dozen that I ordered (ionly thing I ordered ala carte that night); i basically starved that night. Location is not a 2-5 minute walk as specified on some websites! Its more like 10-15minutes from hotel to right into the Pavillion as one has to use the pedestrian bridge to cross. Suggestion do not use the taxi services as 1) there's a surcharge of $6 as its taken from outside the hotel. Drivers are lacking in knowledge of area thats why they lazily hang out st the hotel and make money out of tourists instead. Just hail a taxi from the road or use Grab Taxi. The young lady running all thevresrsurants upstairs was rather unwelcoming. I would not return.

Good 6.0
Good experience, but could be better.
Rooms are okay and service is good, but didn't like few things. First, I had facility issue: hot water didn't come out for first two days. I know they tried hard to fix it, but I was unable to use bathtub for two days. Then I realized that few basic items, like bathrobe missing... of course they supplied right away when I requested it, but that surely mitigated my experience there. The western restaurant was great in terms of both food and service, but it was hard to find. And there is no nearby market or convinient store...but it might be great for people who wish to have serenity and security. They have a great pool and inside facilities. And they have a good bar inside, especially they have a live band singing from 9ish till past midnight. Recommend to be there.

Exceptional 10.0
Big room, comfortable stay and birthday upgrade
For celebrating birthday here we received a room upgrade and were served some cake and a fruit basked. That was very nice. The room was very spacious and had a nice balcony. We liked the big bathroom a lot and the bed was very comfortable. The service was also very nice but the hotel needs some better maintenance. For example the food menu is very worn and doesn't look presentable anymore.
