Although the room was a bit small for 3 people, it was clean and nice. We didn't use the sauna (plenty hot weather in July) but imagine during a winter visit it would have been really nice! Staff was helpful and every afternoon when we got back to the room, they had additional water and other drinks waiting for us. Location was great, close to lots of hustle and bustle of Shinjuku but still a quiet room to unwind and relax.

We had a great stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Shinjuku! The staff were very friendly and nice and always greeted us whenever we left and came back. The rooms are small, so if you are looking for a bigger room this might not be the place, but small rooms are very typical in Japan! We had no problem being in the room with two carry on suitcases and one check-in sized bag. The bed was also super comfortable. We would stay here again! The location is very close to shops and Koreatown. Staff are very helpful and good in English. It may be close to shops but it isn't noisy. Rooms are standard size but ours came with a sauna which was fantastic and quite sizable. Really love the accessories they provide for free, like drinks, pyjamas and face wash.

Great hotel in the heart of Shinjuku. It is located just two blocks from the famous Golden Gai area, surrounded by restaurants and vibrant nightlife. The room even had a sauna, which was incredibly relaxing after a long day of walking.
