Fake reviews and false advertising, stay away
Beware this hotel is under construction and being rebranded as the Prince Akatoki. This hotel is falsely rated as a 5 star luxury hotel. Construction began in June and will not be complete until mid September. There was no mention of this construction on any website at the time of my booking in June. There are signs everywhere apologizing for the construction and promising a lovely hotel once the renovation is completed. The signs are pretty insulting to anyone who is staying in the hotel in its current lackluster condition. Check in was chaotic and took over 20 minutes due to a large group that took over the entire lobby. We were taken to a room that smelled strongly of paint fumes, upon further inspection the entire floor was covered in plastic and was still being painted. After complaining to management of the fumes we were moved to an "upgraded" room. The room had not been renovated, had dirty carpets, and stained sheets. We did not like this room but were told that it was the only room that they could give us that would not smell like paint. In a laughable attempt to make us happy with the room, management gave us 2 drink vouchers. This hotel does not have a restaurant on premises as it is being renovated. Breakfast and drinks are being served in a small room in the basement. The staff is friendly and trying to make the best of a bad situation. That being said this hotel truly ruined the last leg of our London trip. Do yourself a favor and stay away.

Loved every minute of it!
Hands down one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at! Front desk was lovely and went out of their way to accommodate our special requests! The room was very clean with all conveniences. The shower....amazing!!!! The bed......heavenly! Will stay again and again! I’m hooked!

Best service ever experienced
Literally one of the nicest places we have stayed in the world. Mostly due to service level of staff beyond imagination. Fabian was the most amazing hotel concierge I have ever know. Cool hotel and location as well. A special place. Unique experience.

Good 6.0
A bit disappointed with the construction
Had a better experience on previous visit. The staff is professional the location is great and room above average. My comment is that the hotel had construction which was never disclosed and we thought we were in the wrong hotel with areas of the hotel blocked off and closed and it sort of set my wife off about staying there. The main entrance was not available and you felt like you were walking in and out the back door when arriving and departing. In fairness to the hotel we did not say anything for a couple days mostly because we arrived late and the reception area was always busy with arriving and departing guests. So I did not wish to embarrass staff . They were nice about the complaint and said our breakfast would be paid the last day. So a bit disappointed- think they should have let us known in advance about construction .. at the minimum.

Great Place to Visit London
First time staying in London, and the Arch Hotel was perfect, as it is in a great location close to Hyde park. We were able to walk to restaurants, caught the Hop On-Hop Off bus two blocks away, and took the underground anywhere farther. Room and service were excellent. The only downside was that the bar and restaurant were moved due to remodeling, and the temporary location was not great. I would like to return to see how the remodel turns out.
