Great location
Room was super small for 2 adults. Dont mind the dated furnishing but the size of the room is just too small. I think the room is good for two children. Felt clusterphobic on top of the no see through small window provided worsen the feeling. Location/Area around hotel i must admit was fantastic. Lots of shops not gloomy at all. Theres also a 24 hr convenience store just next to the hotel. You wont worry coming back alone late at night coz area is very safe and lively. Location, friendliness of staff, cleanliness of hotel and the room all good except for the size of my particular room i guess...(pls check the size of your room upon check in)

Good hotel for business trip
Single Bed = Tiny pigeon hole. Twin Bed = Isn't spacious but enough to breathe. There are better (new & amenities) hotels in the neighbourhood but Tobu Hotel is a fair choice if you are visiting for business or in need to travel under a budget. ** Staff Service ** I spoke to about 6 different staffs and 5 of them were extremely nice and friendly. *There is one male staff who is extremely ill-mannered and you can tell who it is, just by looking at his facial expression. ** Cleanliness ** It's ok. Not squeaky clean but nothing dirty. ** Noise Level ** I stayed here 3 times and this wasn't a big problem despite the hotel is in Shibuya, where both noise from outside and inside (drunken guests) can prevent you from getting a good night sleep (business trip). I only stayed on 2nd and 3rd floor which was close to the street (ground) level, it did get noisy once at late night by the drunken passer-bys but it was not too bad. ** Breakfast & Cafe ** There is a canteen called 'PRONTO'. The location is convenient but food was mediocre and expensive considering the portion. ** Train Station ** Closest train station is Shibuya station but it's not conveniently close. The congestion caused by the people, makes it feel further away...

Good hotel in a great area
I stayed in a budget single room as I was travelling solo & just wanted my own bed, bathroom & privacy. I had read previous reviews before I booked so I was prepared for a small room & yes it was but that’s what I paid for. I didn’t have any high expectations but the hotel met my requirements. The location is awesome with the Shibuya crossing & train station a few minutes walk away, convenience shops next door & clothing shops close by. Hotel staff were great & polite. I definitely recommended this hotel as long as your comfortable with what your prepared to pay

Poor 2.0
Terrible service, nice location.
The hotel is in a good location and the rooms are nice. The service however was terrible. For instance, I had to cancel a reservation in Kyoto because there were floods. The front desk (I think his name was Hobashi) refused to assist in making the call or communicating with the Kyoto hotel. Then, at some point I misplaced the card key. The same front desk person insisted I pay $20 for the card key. I have lost so many card keys, no one has ever asked me to pay. I finally found it and handed over two keys at checkout. They still wanted to charge me. It was strange. Very poor service. Oh, the wifi also did not work. And once again it is not something the front desk is willing to assist you with.

Nice hotel and would consider staying there again, but upon checking I was standing and waiting to be helped those 2 snooty concierge completely ignore me and pass me off to one of their associates who was very nice! And the way they were looking at me was discomforting I was tired and not looking my best because of the long flight and my overall experience at the airport! And once I got into the hotel no bellboy to greet you at the entrance I have to lug my luggage all by myself thank god this gentleman who was getting out of the hotel helped me! And once inside the hotel to be ignored and passed around was irritating! I thought all Japanese people are all nice! Some are not so nice! Overall nice hotel except for what I have mentioned!
