Ocean Inn and Suites in St. Simon’s is a great place to stay. It’s clean, quiet, comfy beds and pillows. Room is large. It’s in a great location. Walk to restaurants, shops, pier, beach. It is going thru a major renovation now however our stay was fine. They don’t serve much for breakfast but the muffins are the best I’ve ever eaten. Parking is tight however you can park out on street.

Going through construction, first 2 days no hot water. Pool was freezing and ants all over pool deck. They were crawling all over the chairs. Desk help was always outside smoking cigarettes. Location was wonderful. We loved being able to walk to the pier and shops/restaurants and the lighthouse and the shore. That whole area was so nice with the brick walkway and parks and string lights at night. The hotel was under renovation when we were there, which we knew when we booked. We enjoyed our stay and I would stay here again. Looking forward to seeing it after renovations. The only complaint really is that when we ran the A/C unit it smelled really musty/mildewy so we left it off as much as possible.

We were here during the off-season and there was pretty significant construction happening. It’s hard to address cleanliness and condition because everything was in transition. The room was large, but dated. I’m hoping the rooms are part of the renovations. The location was walkable to several restaurants, the boardwalk and the beach. A continental breakfast was a bonus.

The location couldn't get any better! The rooms are large and comfortable! We had 2 balconies and a great view. 2 blocks to the downtown area full of shops and restaurants! I can't wait to go back in the summer time and enjoy the water! Every employee there was very personable and helpful!
