We only stayed one night here and it was great, The hotel's location couldn't be be any better. They have nice amenities, friendly and helpful staff and it's clean and comfortable.

Great Location, but Upsellers
This hotel seems to operate on "upselling," that is offer a great rate on a cheap room that is actually a sealed box with no natural light that is situated over a kitchen, with inoperable WiFi. When we went to the desk to address our claustrophobia concerns, the front desk suggested we move to a room with natural light. This cost 40 more euros per night, and the room was much better (high ceilings, great view of the plaza, WiFi actually worked). Tellingly, the bill captured the additional charge as "upselling." The smaller cramped room on the second floor had paper thin walls, and the kitchen to a restaurant was underneath the room resulting in constant food smells. That room was dirty taboot. Great location within the city.

Centrally located
This boutique hotel is steps away from the Pantheon. It's an easy walk to all of the major tourist attractions. It was comfortable, even though it does not have all the bells and whistles of a large hotel chain. We were in a suite on the top floor. There is a glass door that separates the bedroom from the sitting area, but it doesn't offer much sight or sound privacy, if you're traveling with children. The good news was that the suite was on the top floor (floor 5) so the noise from the crowd below was minimal. The one thing that made our stay less enjoyable was the heavy fragrance they spray in the rooms - a perfume or cleaner? It was very strong and sweet. If you want to be centrally located, this is an excellent option. It's an older building, but it has charm. The staff was very kind as well. We would recommend it for new tourists to the area.

Enjoyed stay in spite of poorly handled check-out
We enjoyed staying at the Pantheon Royal Suite hotel overlooking the Pantheon. It was exactly what we wanted and the visit was mostly positive with one exception. First, it’s important to give credit to the staff for accommodating our request to move mid-stay to a slightly larger room enabling my daughter to stay with us for two nights. We were very grateful for that. The only problem occurred the night before we were expected to check out. I received a call that morning asking that we settle up all charges before 7pm. I said I would do that and actually tried to take care of that mid-day but the person who could help me wasn’t there. So off we went to tour Rome. At 7pm, I received an angry call from the front desk because the desk was closing for the evening and I had forgotten to get back to the hotel before 7 to take care of this. I was immediately apologetic and said I would jump in a taxi and get there within 10 minutes. She said that she wanted to leave and wouldn’t wait and proceeded to reprimand me for not doing what I said I would do. Also, I could not check out the next morning because we would be leaving for the airport before the front desk opened. So this was a problem and I felt like I was not given any options until finally she said I could write an email authorizing payment using the credit card they had on file. This seemed like such a simple thing to do and I gladly obliged. Why not say this in the first place? I didn't appreciate the way this was handled.
