Ok.....room very small, but rest ok
Good value for the money. Young waitress in breakfast area was very helpful & polite.
Always a warm welcome at the Roker. Great value, very pleasant staff. Have stayed here many times when in Sunderland on business.
A friendly hotel with a nice view of the sea. The best is the quality of the bed, it is firm which made me slept very well. However, if you stay at the weekend, the music doesn’t stop till 12:00. And my room could hear the noise very clearly. It didn’t bother me at all as I was still awake at the time. Therefore I still give it a good rating.
This is my go to hotel when visiting the area. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food is always well prepared and tasty and there is an excellent variety of drinks including from their own distillery. Lots of free parking as well as free wifi. It is not the handiest for walking into Sunderland centre so bear that in mind, but is great for a base for driving around or for a holiday. The rooms are good though perhaps slightly tight for space, with the tea and coffee making in the wardrobe; the bathrooms are very large and spacious.
