The staff was very friendly and overall the hotel was fine in terms of cleanliness. However, the rooms were very small (from an American standard) and some aspects of the room were outdated. Overall, if you want a reasonable place to sleep and take a shower, it's fine.

Ok hotel lousy local area
Hotel is good area not so much. Parking was a nightmare. Staff told me ok to park where I was. But that was wrong. Couldn't get my car in morning since it was locked until 0730 missed my ferry

The Ibis was a nice surprise. Great price considering it is only 7 minutes walk to the Europa train/bus station and walking distance to the main attractions such as the City Hall, the Cathedral and all major shopping centers. 3 minutes to where sightseeing buses depart and supermarkets in the area sucha as Dunnes, Lidl or Tesco are a mere 5 minutes away. I will definetely come back here again! Quiet rooms, clean, fantastic service

Convenient to city centre
The IBIS is your standard chain hotel (with an oddly shaped circular bathroom that felt very much like a cruise ship bathroom). The room was functional with a very comfortable bed, but the air conditioning didn't work at all, and when we told the front desk at the end of our stay, they didn't seem too concerned about it (they didn't even write down our room number). The best part of the hotel was its location, which was within walking distance of pretty much anything you could want - tons of shopping and restaurants.
