Nice hotel but please don't tip them!
It's a lovely hotel I visit for the third time. There is not much to complain for me, as I'm quite pleased with it. But for a five star hotel, even in Thailand, there are things that make you shake your head: - They cannot prepare beef. It's a national problem, as to my understanding, Thais don't prepare beef that much for food? But when you promote 'Greek kebap' at high prices in the restaurant, you cannot serve dried bubble gum that cannot be chewed. You have to know how to prepare it. - When you have 5 star guests waiting at the lobby to get to their transportation, you don't let car rental agents occupy the few customer seats for waiting. - Beware the 17% surcharge. If they sell you something for 1000 THB, it will be topped with a 10% tax + 7% service charge. This is outright highway robbery. I'm no short of money, but when someone sells something for 1000 THB, of course the final price should be 1000 THB, not something around 1170 THB. This is not something for a five star hotel. So during my visit in Thailand, I never tip at this hotel, never. Please don't let this foul practice lure you to tip them, no matter the smile. - Talking of smiles, the pool restaurant staff needs a higher pay or a motivation drill. The rude behavior is not up to the nice level of the rest of the hotel. No matter my negative comments, I highly recommend this hotel anyway, and will go there soon again (kids loved it)

Very Good
Likes: The water park was great with access to private beach. The ocean view was awesome! Dislikes: The facilities need some maintenance. My son and I really enjoy our room - Club Mirage Ocean facing room, but the the toilet was kinda aged and there was a lingering stench. Also, there seems to be some waterproofing along the corridor between the bathtub and the wardrobe - it's feel moist constantly, especially when it is cold.

My favourite Thailand hotel, I have been to this hotel 3 times with different people every time! Everyone who has come with me has thoroughly enjoyed it. The highlight of this themed hotel (apart from the lost world theme) would have to be the on site spa services they offer - very relaxing and refreshing I make a point to book my appointment before I arrive because I don’t want to miss out on an appointment! However I don’t think that’s required but if you do you can sometimes get specials. The hotel offers a “Bhat bonanza” offer at times here you can for example put down 10,000 baht and the hotel gives an additional 3,000 baht to spend on site great value of using the great on site restaurants. Now other things about the hotel the view from every room - amazing. The hotel grounds with pools and slides galore are fun and lovely to walk around (and go in!) the buffet breakfast in my opinion was too busy and overrun with children and people putting too much on their plates thinking the food will run out, that aside the spread changes slightly every day and there is something for everyone. I recommend using GRAB ride share service to get around Pattaya, fast reliable WiFi and hotel concierge was able to arrange a same day last minute ticket for cabaret show

Very Good
Overall it was a pleasant stay in the resort. Especially the gorgeous room! Loved the tubing pool, the slides and kiddo pool. My kids had a blast! The only thing was the person who works at the towel station next to the coast restaurant, she had terrible attitude! Nobody owes her anything, she should fix herself or actually I don’t think she is suitable to work as customer service!

Nice hotel for families with children
The arrival experience was very good; friendly staff, nice ambient and breezy in Nov 17. I accepted the reception suggestion and upgraded my room at a cost of SGD $70/night and that would provide access to the executive lounge and other privileges. My room was 1240, it was nice, cosy and sea facing. There are things in the room that needed attention. The lighting switches were a little loose. The toilet flush buttons were about to fall out. It was extremely difficult to get a good mix of water from the shower tap, it was either too hot or too cold. The executive lounge provided a good mix of fruits and drinks, but very limited choices of food during breakfast and finger food during cocktail sessions. It has a large pool and many water activities that can keep you occupy. Games room and children room are quite new. The kids will like this place. I took dinner at the Oasis restaurant on one night. The buffer seafood dinner spread was good. The dinner came with crowns and magic show. A good event for families with children. I took breakfast at the same Oasis restaurant on one morning. There were varieties. It was crowded and queue started to form after 8.00am. Overall, I would rate this hotel very good for families with children.
