Decent, clean, comfortable, up-to-date hotel. Quite affordable. Centrally located - close to restaurants and shops. Has a good restaurant itself with a dinner buffet and free breakfast buffet in the morning with an excellent selection.

It's a nice place to stay
We stayed here for a total of 11 nights. While the hotel does need a major upgrade the customer service was amazing. They took very good care of us. I suggest asking for a room facing Samora Machel because there is a club that plays very loud music on the other side. The breakfast is an elaborate spread and the restaurant is good as well. It's right down town so easy to grab a cab or walk around. The rooms are a little shabby but very clean and a good value for the price. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Mediocre hotel with poor service.
This could have been a nice hotel with a much better review, but the service was poor, especially the restaurant wait staff. We had dinner the first night and the service was awful. We ate at other restaurants for the rest of the trip. Internet does not work in the far back rooms. Get a room closer to the front of the building. Convenient downtown location. The first night there was not toilet paper in the room, another day they forgot to leave towels. Basic service is simply not there.

Excellent staff
The excellent staff made our stay unforgettable! 20 days of feeling on top of the world. Made heaps of friends. The hotel is in the process of a major much needed spruce up without inconveniencing their clients. We didn't want to leave. Going back in October and can not wait to be amongst these warm welcoming staff again. The chef does an amazing job but is unfortunately restricted in what he is allowed to cook. He is very talented therefore I'd love if they gave him more freedom in this regard. The swimming pool area was quiet and we spent hours there with a dear friend. Our table had a clean table cloth and our beer, wine glasses and ashtrays were clean and fresh every morning we got there. No request was ignored whether Big or small.
