We stayed one night and it was awful! There was a train that ran every 5 minutes that kept me up all night and the room was so small for 4 people.

Nice little boutique hotel
The local businesses showed great variety. The double set of windows kept the noise of the trains gaining over the Manhattan bridge down so it was no issue for sleeping. Some great restaurants nearby, Kiki's for Greek and the Cup & Saucer diner for a great breakfast. Not a tone of amenities at the hotel, but a nice clean comfortable stay.

Great value
On the whole, this hotel is a great value for the price and we will stay here again. We usually stay at a different hotel in Chinatown, but this year the reviews for the other hotel mentioned bedbugs, so we decided to take a chance on a different hotel. I'm glad we did, this is going to be our go-to for the future. The Queen Superior room was small, but every budget room in New York is going to be small. Everything was clean, although worn. There was an iron-shaped burn on the rug, and the edge of the rug was frayed; there were bleach spots on the curtain. There is currently construction going on, and I assume they just have not gotten to the sixth floor yet to do renovations. I have no complaints at all about the bathroom, the shower had great water pressure and got very hot. The bathroom was clean as well. The bed was very comfortable, and was big enough for two people. The only real problem I had with the room was that the wooden bed frame had sharp corners on it, and because the room was so small, I kept banging my shins on it, and now I have a bunch of bruises. Considering the location and the cleanliness for the price, I can try to be better about watching where I'm walking. We were used to getting off the subway at Grand Street, but it's closer to take the F to East Broadway and get off there.
