    Great unless you want service
We stepped in to the lobby and things went great. One of the reasons why I picked this hotel was because of its shuttle to the airport. Our flight was very early in the morning, so that was essential. The clerk asked for our preferred time and name to reserve the shuttle, we chose 3 am and we were on our way. The room was perfect - warm showers, warm towels, comfortable bed and quiet. The following morning we rushed to the lobby for our 3 am shuttle to learn that the driver is missing. Half an hour later, we went outside to meet him only to be told that he can’t take us to the airport, as the two other people loaded on the shuttle, because our name was not on the list. We went inside, cab was called (which we would pay for) since we were getting late. “Wait near the taxi area on the road.” freezing cold, we waited. Cab drove right past us. Few more calls, few more trips to the lobby, flight time approached quickly, and an hour later, we finally were able to get a cab. Absolutely horrible service. The shuttle refused to take us, they never fixed the issue, and instead made us wait for a taxi. Disappointment and anger does not even encapsulate the experience.

    Won’t be back
Overnight stay. Liked shuttle service and large shopping mall close by. Breakfast buffet overpriced. If all you need is an overnight stay, shuttle service, and a good breakfast, there are better options nearby that are cheaper and are otherwise equivalent. This hotel is growing in price but not offering more. I’ve stayed here over the past 5 yrs and now am going with free breakfast and lower rate. I haven’t bought anything at the mall and can do without.

    Major disappointment
We booked at this hotel because we had a long, overnight layover and thought we would be too tired to go into Madrid proper from the airport. Sadly, I regret staying here. All the reasons I had for booking were foiled in actuality. The airport shuttle was a disaster, it was too full to take all the passengers needed - often times people were angry, the driver was flustered, and some ended up having to take a taxi instead of this "complimentary" airport shuttle. The shuttle covered 2 hotels, so it dropped you off at the other hotel and you would have to do a short walk to the other one. I was really excited about the wellness center, but it closed by the time we checked in and wouldn't be open by the time we had to leave. There was no room service so if I wanted to eat I would have to pay an arm and a leg for the adjacent restaurant's overpriced spaghetti... So I ended up ordering quite a sad meal via Deliveroo. Just something short of disasterous overall. The bed was uncomfortable, the sheets scratchy, the amenities were cheap... The room was good sized, it had a safe, and the bathroom was also a good size, but it had no bathtub. Not a very relaxing hotel, more utilitarian than anything. Also, we were by the elevator so I'm certain it was noisier than most rooms. Speaking of the elevators they were rather slow... like the staff, only the staff were also a bit rude and unhelpful. Wouldn't stay here again, wouldn't recommend staying here.
