Appalling!
I am absolutely disgusted on what happened with this hotel. I booked it because they have a swimming pool which one can do long laps. When I got there, it was closed for reconstruction till end of August. I had been very nice in saying to the cleaning personnel that there's no need to do the bed, just change the small hankerchief sized towels daily. I was there three times when the cleaning lady or guy came. The first time, I asked do you do the cleaning of the kitchenette and she said yes, next day I wasn't there and kitchenette wasn't cleaned but I got a card stating that they don't clean the kitchenette. So I assumed that they will just clean it after 4 nights stay. The final day, I was warned that any checkout even one minute after 12pm I will be charged an extra 50AUD, thanks to the AUS morning time of the champions league final, can't blame them, I got up late and in a real rush. But what actually disgusts me is that a day after I left I got an email saying that they have charged me an extra AUD$26.95 for needing to clean the kitchenette, so do you expect me to buy a set of kitchen cleaning stuff and clean it? Never will I come back to this group of hotel ever again! Absolutely appalling!

The WiFi was too expensive, the midnight fire evacuation was frightening

Great location in the heart of city but.....
This would be a perfect place if you are 20s and ready to enjoy the city at the fair price. It is located at the centre of city and close to nice restaurants and bars. Can't beat the price of this hotel considering the condition of room and location. But if you are looking for a hotel for family trip, I would say go somewhere else. I am not so sure to what extent the serviced apartments manage, but unlike other serviced apartment I've stayed during my trip, here at Oaks Festival Towers, my bed sheet never replaced, floor never vacuumed, carpet smelled as if someone has urinated and corridor smelled like rotten oyster for some reason.People on my floor seemed to having a party all night. I reported all these issues upon check-in, and they replied that they would address it directly, however, it never happened.

Disappointed Stay
So many complaints but never been resolved. Beddings in the cupboard was so dirty. Telephone was not working. Room was never cleaned but they do not have sweeper for us to sweep the floor. Attached photo of their mop all moldy
