I've been staying at the Sky Ranch Lodge for over 30 years. It is a special place, above a beautiful city, often loved too much. Recently, they added a no charge travel service of less than five miles down the mesa (and return) and a morning breakfast . Perfect. I'm already looking forward to my return.

I thought this property was very good. I would rate it excellent if the bed was more firm. I had a backache after sleeping on the bed. If that is not an obstacle for you then I would say you will enjoy the location and boutique style atmosphere. The veiws from the property are magnificent.

Beautiful location, super friendly staff and cute updated rooms. The only negative is that I love a comfy bed and the beds were a little too squishy. If I sat on it, the mattress would sink so far down in that spot I thought I was turning into a taco. But I will take that over a rock hard bed with flat pillows.

Overall I loved this hotel! Rooms were great. Staff was wonderful. Having food on-site after a long day was so convenient! A private sunrise viewing area was awesome! My only issue was that this same area is used for weddings and therefore closed to guests for sunsets when there is a wedding. Understandable. However, we stayed 4 nights & there were 4 weddings, so that was kind of a bummer as the airport gets very crowded for sunset. I was slightly disappointed by our rim view queen room as obstructed by the next room. Overall very nice hotel & I’d stay again, but wanted to share my thoughts.
